Join us for our 5th Annual Spring Festival at Old River Farms Saturday April 22nd 2017 9:00-4:00! Our focus is to promote our talented local craftspeople and artisans. We will have over 40 local vendors selling handmade/homemade and re-purposed items. Wood working, metal working, paintings, sculpture, jewelry, baked goods, healthy snacks, jams/canned goods, all natural soaps, candles and much, much more. Awesome live music all day under our big barn and plenty of delicious local food to fill your belly. Bouncy houses and games for kids!
We are a small family owned and operated farm. We take great pride in hosting these events and providing a fun atmosphere for our community to enjoy. With that said, we cannot do it all on our own. There is a small parking fee of $3 per car to help us pay for this event. You are welcome to bring as many people as you would like(safely!) in your carload. Vendor spaces are still open. Large 20’x15′ spaces cost $50 for the day. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tents, chairs and tables. Click on application link above for more details.
Old River Farms is a fully functional working farm, with our Garden Center open 9:00 – 5:00, 5 days a week (closed Sunday and Monday) to the general public. We offer educational field trips, which are tailored to meet the NC Common Core and Essential Standards. Our focus is to provide our community with the highest quality vegetable and bedding plants, while also educating our visitors on the benefits of growing their own food.
We now have our own, all natural beef for sale! Born and raised right here at the farm. No hormones, no steroids, no antibiotics. Sold as individually packaged 1-4lb cuts as well as bulk meat ready for your freezer. Click here for more info or call us directly for quickest service and availability.
